SEPTIC INSTALL
We were required install a raised mound bottomless sand septic system, due to the high water table, and sandy soil conditions in the area. This involves building a 10 x 24 foot raised bed to hold sand, gravel and dirt. Built from used railroad ties this “bed” sits now in the front of our beach cabin. What a mess this installation of two septic tanks made of the lot. Dirt piled high, open holes, stinky railroad ties. Yuck! Installation took two days, and will remain uncovered for several more until inspections can be made.
